Battery disposal guide
Household battery collection programs are the programs that work in accordance to collect the scrap batteries from various houses and then treat them well and recover the material from the waste one and then dispose it. They take the scrap and then deliver it to the recycling units. Even the stores and various chains of battery shops also collect the waste batteries and send them to the recycling centers for proper disposal.

Mercury-oxide and silver-oxide button batteries are generally collected by the jewelers, pharmacies and hearing-aid stores who further sold these used batteries to the industries that reclaim the metals used in them. The scrap batteries should never be burned. If you are not able to deliver the scrap to the recycling units, in that case you should approach these retailers and institutes.
